Our pupils have created a new motto ‘Live Life, Love Learning’ that reflects our determination to whet the appetite for life-long learning.
Combined with our caring ethos we aim to give the children the very best start at school.
Eco-Schools is an international award programme that guides schools on their sustainable journey, providing a simple framework to help make sustainability an integral part of school life.
Eco-Schools mission is to help make every school in the country sustainable and to bring about behaviour change in young people and those connected to them so that good habits learned in schools are followed through into homes and communities.
Preshute has been awarded a gold ‘Light The Candle’ Award for the proactive approach we take to involve children in collective worship and assemblies.
The Healthy Schools Programme (NHSP) is a joint initiative between DCSF and Department of Health (DH) that promotes a whole school / whole child approach to health. Healthy Schools is intended to deliver real benefits in respect of:
Improvement in health and reduced health inequalities;
Raised pupil achievement;
More social inclusion; and,
Closer working between health promotion providers and education establishments
