The school has made a link with the Child of Hope School and Charity in Uganda.
For one of our Journey days we worked in our house groups to learnt about Uganda and the Children of Hope School, as result of day the Child of Hope has become our school charity.
Here is some of the things we have shared between the two schools this year.
- We have sent cards from each house and something about our school and prayers.
- We have received letters from the children and as a result of us sending the cards to the school and talking about our houses. The Children of Hope school have set up their own houses. and sent cards back to us.
- We shared songs at Christmas and Christmas cards. We have also raised money so the families could have meat for their Christmas dinner.
- For world book day we raised money to send to the Children of Hope so they could buy books. We also shared story recommendations.
